EazyPaper Inc. is committed to safeguarding your privacy. Please read the following policy, last updated on November 23, 2015 to understand how your personal information will be treated as you make full use of our offerings. Note that there are occasions when unique machine-identifying information is transmitted across the Internet, such as for the sake of a product’s Digital Rights Management. 1. What personally identifiable information is collected from you?

EazyPaper Inc. may ask for your name, mailing or shipping address, telephone number and/or e-mail address. You have no obligation to give us any of your information, unless you are evaluating or ordering a product from us or if you wish us to respond to an inquiry. In addition, some anonymous general information, such as the identity of the computer from which you access our site, may be gathered when you visit our site. If your visit results in your trying a product of ours, moreover, its Digital Rights Management may include the product’s sending us, across the Internet, the identity of the computer on which the product is running: the first time the product is launched; if and when you purchase a license to use the product beyond its two-day trial period; and each time the product is launched subsequent to such purchase. If you contact EazyPaper Inc., we may keep a record of that correspondence. EazyPaper Inc. may also compile anonymous aggregate information about visitors to our site that we use for purposes of improving the site and determining what our visitors and customers want from the site.

2. What cookies are and how they are used?

EazyPaper Inc. uses cookies to store and sometimes track information about you to enhance your use of the site, to analyze site activity, and for the sake of the Digital Rights Management of a product of ours that you are using, whether or not you have yet purchased a license to use it beyond its two-day trial period. A cookie is a small amount of data that is sent to your browser from a web server and stored on your computer. Cookies are used to:

  • Estimate our number of visitors
  • Determine what visitors view
  • Measure traffic patterns and the use of individual parts of the Site
  • Measure the effectiveness of online advertising
  • Store in CRC16 format the MAC address uniquely identifying the computer running a product of ours

3. Who is collecting the information?

When you are on the EazyPaper Inc. site and are asked for personal information by EazyPaper Inc., you are sharing that information only with EazyPaper Inc., unless it is specifically stated otherwise. Please be aware that any links from the EazyPaper Inc. site to other web sites may also collect personally identifiable information about you. The information practices of those web sites are not covered by this privacy policy.

4. How do we use your personal information?

EazyPaper Inc. uses your personal information to give you a higher level customer service, such as processing payment for products and services which you order from us, answering inquiries that you make to our site, and keep you up to date on the latest product announcements, software updates, special offers, and other information we think you'd like to hear about.

We may also use your personal information to contact you to participate in a market research survey, so that we can gauge customer satisfaction and develop better products.

The information uniquely identifying the computer on which a product of ours is running is used for that product’s Digital Rights Management, including the exclusive EazyPaper Inc. feature of letting you (or any person you allow to know your security information) move your license for the product seamlessly to another computer (thus permanently disabling the product on the original computer) without contacting technical support.

5. With whom the information may be shared?

As a general rule, EazyPaper Inc. will never share any of your personal information with any third party except when we have your specific permission, or we need to do so to process your payment. In special circumstances we may be required by law to disclose your personal information. Employees of EazyPaper Inc. may have access to your personal information, for the purposes of fulfilling your orders or dealing with your inquiries. We will protect the confidentiality of your information, and will not allow our employees to use it other than to carry out the purposes for which you have given us the information.

6. What choices are available to you regarding collection, use and distribution of your information?

You may refuse at any time to give us your personal information, but if you do so we will be unable to provide you with our products and/or information other than the public information posted on our web site.

After you have given us your personal information, you may at any time login to My EazyPaper and update or delete your personal information.

You also have choices regarding cookies. By modifying your browser preferences, you have the choice to accept all cookies, to be notified when a cookie is set or to reject all cookies. If you choose to reject all cookies, you may be unable to access certain features of the EazyPaper Inc. site that requires registration in order to participate.

EazyPaper Inc. does not transfer, sell or rent user information to anyone. If that changes, we will notify you at the time of data collection or transfer if your data will be shared with a third party and you will always have the option of not permitting the transfer.

7. How you can access, update or delete your information?

You may at any time login to My EazyPaper and access, update or delete your information.

8. What security procedures are in place to protect you from the loss, misuse or alteration of the information?

When you make a purchase from us online or through EazyPaper, your credit card information is encrypted using 256 bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology during transport to our system. We do not store your credit card number on our web server at any time, and use it only to fulfill your purchase request.

Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, EazyPaper Inc. cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your transmission, we make our best efforts to ensure its security on our systems.

9. What is your privacy policy with the EazyDatabase service?

EazyDatabase stores the references entered into your paper to your My EazyPaper account, thereby backing up your references, and allowing you to access your references from any Internet connected computer in the world. It conforms to all of EazyPaper Inc.'s strict privacy policy, with the following additions:

  • Your list of references are accessible only through EazyPaper, and only after you login with your EazyPaper email and password.
  • EazyDatabase subscribers can search the aggregate list of EazyDatabase references, but any personally identifiable information like personal research notes are stripped out from the search results.

10. What is your privacy policy with the EazyEditing service?

EazyEditing is a paper grading and editing service. It conforms to all of EazyPaper Inc.'s strict privacy policy, with the following additions:

  • We collect your paper for grading or editing. Your paper may contain personally identifiable information over and above what we collect during our normal sales and support process. You have the option of deleting any of this personally identifiable information before submitting your paper to us.
  • We do not forward your paper, or any grading or estimating comments to a third party without your written consent, or in the rare cases where required by law.
  • We do not have any claim over your paper, including any intellectual property or moral rights.

11. What is your privacy policy with the EazyPaper newsletter?

The EazyPaper monthly newsletter is a free service containing tips and tips and tricks on getting an A on your paper, and how to use Microsoft Word more efficiently and effectively. It conforms to all of EazyPaper Inc.'s strict privacy policy, with the following additions:

  • We collect your name and email only for the purposes of sending you the newsletter.
  • We send you the newsletter only if you sign up for it during the EazyPaper trial download, or through our website.
  • We do not share your name or email with any third party, nor do we forward any third party mailings to you.
